{"id":15647,"date":"2023-02-09T14:25:22","date_gmt":"2023-02-09T19:25:22","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/ctsq.qc.ca\/?page_id=15647"},"modified":"2023-02-09T14:25:22","modified_gmt":"2023-02-09T19:25:22","slug":"conge","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/ctsq.qc.ca\/en\/conge\/","title":{"rendered":"Leave of Absence"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">According to the actual regulation, an \u00abathletic therapist\u00bb member can apply for a leave of absence of 6, 8 or 12 months for one of the following reasons:<\/p>\n<ul style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<li><strong>\u2666 <\/strong>Pregnancy (preventive withdrawal)<\/li>\n<li><strong>\u2666 <\/strong>New maternity\/paternity<\/li>\n<li><strong>\u2666 <\/strong>Sickness<\/li>\n<li><strong>\u2666<\/strong> Full-time studying<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Only professional members (\u00abathletic therapist\u00bb) can apply for a leave of absence. At the time of the leave, they accept not to practise their profession and they will receive in exchange a discount on their annual fee.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">At any given time during a leave of absence period, an athletic therapist can ask, by email or registered mail, to reactivate their status. The member shall submit appropriate documentation required by the Corporation to validate their admissibility to the practice of the profession. They shall wait for an official confirmation from the CTSQ before returning to their professional activities.
