Group Insurance: File for Your Annual Tax Report<\/strong><\/p>\n

For all beneficiaries of our group insurance program, make sure that you retrieved your annual file. It was sent out by email last February 9, 2024. Check your spam folders if needed. We are reminding everyone that since we are not an employer, there are no T4 being produced and thus, the document sent out is the only one being provided and acts as the official one.<\/p>\n<\/div>

By-laws Change<\/strong><\/p>\n

A change to the Corporation’s by-laws was adopted by the administrators on January 17, 2024. The change will have to be endorsed by the members at the AGM. Dear Members,<\/em><\/p>\n

With recent bylaw changes at the national level, certain members have wondered and questioned how things would be moving forward in Quebec. With a strong renewal of membership, we all demonstrated an understanding of the importance of working together to attain our goals. The CTSQ remains an essential organization representing the voice of athletic therapists at the provincial level. We maintain ties and discussion on behalf of our members with the Coll\u00e8ge des m\u00e9decins du Qu\u00e9bec<\/em>, the government officials, the Office des professions du Qu\u00e9bec<\/em>, insurance companies and many other sports-related association. Through these communication channels, we constantly work to ensure recognition of our members and the work we do. We also have projects to increase our scope of practice. The purpose of the CTSQ is to better the profession of Athletic Therapy in the province.<\/p>\n

The support of our members is thus essential for the survival of the CTSQ. It would be difficult to legitimize our status as professionals without such a representation. With that being said, we hope we all keep our efforts joined by supporting the CTSQ to help us complete the main task of obtaining licensure in the province. This is a topic that is important for all of us and one of the main reasons we remain united. The road towards this objective has been long and is a representation of the complexity of this task. We are always revising our strategies and taking action to ensure that we can succeed at finally obtaining this recognition.<\/p>\n

Football Qu\u00e9bec pr\u00e9sente le nouveau projet de gradation des intervenants en sant\u00e9 au football. Cette nouvelle gradation a \u00e9t\u00e9 r\u00e9vis\u00e9e par le comit\u00e9 s\u00e9curit\u00e9 de Football Qu\u00e9bec qui regroupe un m\u00e9decin, trois th\u00e9rapeutes du sport, un intervenant technicien ambulancier param\u00e9dical, un conseiller juridique et deux gestionnaires de la f\u00e9d\u00e9ration. Ce document a par la suite \u00e9t\u00e9 r\u00e9vis\u00e9 par un regroupement d\u2019entra\u00eeneurs chevronn\u00e9s de plusieurs r\u00e9gions du Qu\u00e9bec et pratiquant au sein d\u2019organisations de niveaux diff\u00e9rents de football. Le comit\u00e9 s\u2019est positionn\u00e9 sur des normes minimales qui permettent de faire de la s\u00e9curit\u00e9 des athl\u00e8tes une priorit\u00e9.\u00a0Tous les intervenants en sant\u00e9 devront s\u2019y conformer d\u2019ici\u00a0mars 2024<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Pour les matchs de niveau juv\u00e9nile\/midget ou les cat\u00e9gories d’\u00e2ge de 17 ans et moins<\/strong>, les intervenants autoris\u00e9s ne peuvent \u00eatre qu’issues d’un de ses quatre domaines (chiropratique, m\u00e9decine, physioth\u00e9rapie ou th\u00e9rapie du sport), avoir leur titre en bonne et due forme (aucun \u00e9tudiant) et avoir une formation \u00e0 jour de premier r\u00e9pondant sportif reconnue.*<\/p>\n
