Following the reception of your certification results, please remember to update your status with the CTSQ in order to maintain a membership in good standing. We can now share the names of the committee members: Phil Fait, Eric Grenier-Denis, Heather McCoy and Nour Saad\u00e9 will be working together on this integration. They were selected for their extensive knowledge and experience with the matter.<\/p>\n

Regarding the survey of the Avis d’opportunit\u00e9<\/em>, the CTSQ looked at all comments received. Several of these comments pertained to the upcoming steps in the process and raise legitimate concerns that the CTSQ intends to defend with determination, particularly with regard to protecting the interests and status of athletic therapy.<\/p>\n

On June 18, 2025, Laurie-Ann Corbin-Berrigan, athletic therapist and professor at UQTR’s d\u00e9partement des sciences de l\u2019activit\u00e9 physique<\/em>, participated in the International Pre-Congress on Safe Sport Research as a representative of the CTSQ.<\/p>\n

As part of this event, Laurie-Ann and the other participants were invited to discuss, reflect, and innovate on topics and areas related to safety in sport. The approach aimed to address safety in all its forms: physical, emotional, and psychological. An official report was published following the analysis of the day\u2019s discussions and will, we hope, contribute to improving the sporting environment in Qu\u00e9bec.<\/p>\n
