Dissemination Grant
In order to increase the spawn and notoriety of athletic therapy, the CTSQ offers annual a dissemination grant to one of its certified members. The grant, valued to $2,000.00 maximum, is awarded to a student at the master or doctoral level. The specific goal of this grant is to support students willing to present their research results in major scientific events, internationally or locally.
Application begins on February 1st
Application closes on March 10th
Grant will be awarded at the CTSQ annual banquet in April
Admissibility Criteria
- Be a second-year master’s student or a doctorate candidate
- Be involved in a scientific research project in a field directly linked to athletic therapy
- Have tangible results to be presentation worthy (the research may be unfinished or an ongoing project)
- Be a certified member and be in good standing with the CTSQ
- Be able to present her or his project at the aATC in French, even if the project is conducted in English
- Receive a financial commitment from her or his director or supervisor of $150.00
- Spend the grant within 365 days of its reception
- Non-renewable on the same project

- Registration proof
- Commitment letter from the director or supervisor
- Details of the event (dates, locations, objectives, notoriety in the field)
- Expense journal (planned)
- Presentation letter
- Details on the project
Evaluation Criteria
- Value of the project for the field
- Amount of possible notoriety gained from the project
- Quality of presented documents (clarity, grammar, etc.)
- Priority will be given to students who are enrolled in athletic therapy program (pan-American) or in a Québec establishment in a related department.
