Neuro Reconditioning R2 Designs

Neuro Reconditioning R2 Designs

Neuro Reconditioning brings the worlds of therapy, applied neurology, and performance practice together under one operating system to create more robust and resilient humans.

The approach is proactive, holistic, and inductive and brings strength and conditioning specialists, Kinesiologists, and other performance practitioners together with therapeutic practitioners such as athletic therapists, physical therapists, chiropractors, osteopaths, and massage therapists providing a common language of practice so that these professionals alone, or in collaboration, may provide better and more powerful outcomes for their clients.

Neuro Reconditioning is designed to provide attendees with a clear process for assessing the neurological system, evaluating movement globally, and integrating local and global interventions, to address the drivers of dysfunction and limitation in performance.

By understanding and addressing the root cause of dysfunction or limitation in the system, practitioners are able to get rapid, effective, and long-lasting results with their clients. Each solution set is uniquely tailored to the client and context of their situation.

Reconditioning – R2-Designs

In R2 Designs is a course taking the concepts and principles brought to bear in level 1 and contextualizing them, integrating them into return to function/performance and training processes, and brings them together in a case study format.

The participant then has a in-person learning lab. The primary learning blocks centre on the following domains:

  • • Deep movement demand assessment through video analysis
  • • Understanding transitional states, how articulations, and muscle systems must change roles in order to produce fluid movement
  • • Understanding the practical implication of fixed points, dissociation, force vectors, acceleration, and deceleration in movement
  • • Context based assessment strategies
  • • Visual and Vestibular Assessments
  • • Sports and activity needs assessments
  • • Visual and Vestibular Skills and Interventions strategies
  • • Higher level program development
