Even though the deadline has officially passed, it is still possible to pay your annual membership fee. A late fee of $25.00 has been added to unpaid invoices since February 1st. You have until February 28, to make your payment, after which your membership status will be automatically suspended. To do so, please log in to your account and go to the “Members’ Requirements” tab.

This message is for all graduates who attempted November certification exam. Following the reception of your certification results, please remember to update your status with the CTSQ in order to maintain a membership in good standing. You have until February 28th, to complete your status change with the CTSQ. All relevant information was sent by email on January 19th. The CTSQ wishes to acknowledge the success of all students who passed the exam. Congratulations to the new therapists!

The members of the Board of Directors wish you an excellent start to the year 2026 and take this opportunity to remind you that they meet 8 times a year to discuss the various issues related to athletic therapy in Québec, as well as matters concerning CTSQ members. Please do not hesitate to write to us to share any topic requiring the attention of the Board. We will be pleased to include it on the agenda of the next meeting.

If you missed it, take a moment to read the official communication regarding the integration of athletic therapist to Quebec’s professional system. We can now share the names of the committee members: Phil Fait, Eric Grenier-Denis, Heather McCoy and Nour Saadé will be working together on this integration. They were selected for their extensive knowledge and experience with the matter.

Regarding the survey of the Avis d’opportunité, the CTSQ looked at all comments received. Several of these comments pertained to the upcoming steps in the process and raise legitimate concerns that the CTSQ intends to defend with determination, particularly with regard to protecting the interests and status of athletic therapy.

The CTSQ remains actively engaged in this matter and will keep you informed of any developments.

After nearly 12 years with the Corporation des thérapeutes du sport du Québec, Eric Grenier-Denis is stepping down from his role as Executive Director. Eric has supported the CTSQ, its members, and the Board of Directors with remarkable professionalism and dedication. Since last November, he has ensured a smooth transition of the role. We wish him success in the pursuit of his projects.

We take this opportunity to welcome Kathia Tourville as Operations Coordinator. She will gradually assume many of the tasks and responsibilities previously handled by Eric. We are confident that Kathia will bring her expertise and organizational skills to serve CTSQ members and ensure an efficient and seamless transition. We invite you to join us in welcoming her.

The CTSQ is proud to have, once again this year, funded the purchase of merch that UQTR students will be able to wear proudly for their internship and represent their future profession. By the way, did you know that almost all students from the program are members of the CTSQ? We thank them for their support and presence amongst our ranks.
