We are reminding all the beneficiaries of our group insurance program that the contract’s renewal will happen on September 1, 2024. Further communication with details of the renewal will be shared in due time. Our broker is currently negotiating the new premiums in order to keep the increase at a minimum. An increase in drugs consumption has been visible throughout the year; premium changes are thus to be expected. Keep an eye out for our email in the coming weeks.

For all students who wrote June’s CATA exam, we are reminding you to proceed to your status change before the end of August 31, 2024. All information was sent out in our July 4 email.

We are also reminding students that you cannot keep a «student» membership once you graduate from your program. Therefore, make sure to change your status with us.

You can find the most up-to-date and ratified by-laws by logging into your CTSQ account. Moreover, the administrators officially endorsed a new charting regulation; the document is available with the by-laws. A guide is being developed at the moment by the committee. An official announcement will be made when the guide is complete, but you may look at the regulation as of now.

CTSQ’s administrators held their annual meeting to plan the year ahead this past June. On top of our leading projects and priorities (such as integration to the professional system), we are working on new projects such as offering CPR courses exclusively to CTSQ members and planning more regular gatherings to forge links within our community. As part of our work towards integration to the professional system, we started a series of meetings with provincial politicians in order to bring our file to the forefront of the discussion on the modernization process. Our file was even publicly mentioned during Sonia Lebel’s audit last April 23; we see this as a good sign.
