Job Description

Seeking an Athletic Therapist to be part of a dynamic and innovative team of physical and mental health professionals that aim to provide optimal care in a remote setting. Looking for self-directed individual willing to take on a full time role with strong manual therapy skills and background in exercise and stretching.

Our health and wellness company operates on-site in the industrial sector delivering medical and paramedical services within the mining industry. Our philosophy to healthcare delivery is to create a holistic wellness experience to service remote sites within Canada.

The Opportunity/The Perks

  • • FULL TIME SALARY ROLE
  • • Work on-site at a mine site in Northern Ontario
  • • All Transportation expenses are covered.
  • • Accommodation’s near the site are provided.
  • • The position will be a rotating shift on a weekly basis (7 days on – 7 days off)
  • • Above industry salaried wages.

Who You Are / Responsibilities

  • • Provider that believes in treating clients based on their needs, goals & preferences.
  • • Self- motivated and autonomous, yet able to work in a team to discuss client cases,
    provide best practice care and get promising result
  • • Capable of working collaboratively with the rest of the team, and open to learning new
    skills and developing your practice
  • • Comfortable working in a remote setting
  • • Provide group health promotion initiatives through leading group exercises, morning
    stretches, healthy breaks, and more
  • • Manipulate muscles or other soft tissues of the body
  • • Provide 1 on 1 ongoing treatments
  • • Implement return to work programs
  • • Assist with ergonomics training (various departments)
  • • Assist with Health promotion initiatives
  • • Assist with Postural workshops
  • • Document client’s condition and progress

Qualifications

  • • Certified in CPR and first aid/first responder
  • • Minimum of 1-2 year experience
  • • Successful candidates must be friendly, reliable, and client focused
  • • Must have own Malpractice Insurance

Pay: CA$65,000.00-CA$85,000.00 per year
